Nijisanji’s January 2020 monthly voices now on sale for the first time!

author’s note: this article previously incorrectly stated that this set was for January 2021, but this was the first month it was on sale and not the correct date for the voices themselves.

January voices are on sale now at the Nijisanji official store! From now until 11:59 PM on January 31st (JST) you can purchase two January-themed tracks recorded by your favorite VTubers. Find the full list of participating livers below!

This month’s key visual features Fumi (youtube / twitter), a a kitsune deity who loves Gundam! According to her promo for this month’s voice, she’s inviting us on the first shrine visit of the new year! And though you’ll be going as a couple, she’s also letting us know that she walks on the left hand (dominant) side on dates. You can grab the key visual as a background for your computer and smartphone along with Fumi’s voice with either the key visual set (500 JPY) or the complete set of voices (14,000 JPY).

Each voice set costs 500 JPY each and features two tracks on the following themes:

  1. Theme: “What does January mean to me?” or the changing of the seasons
  2. Theme: “What’s happening in January” or experience the season

There are no EX voices for this set. The scripts for each track are developed by the livers themselves and may include content that goes beyond the prompt. Tracks will either be free talk or situational.

As a reminder, the Nijisanji official store homepage isn’t in English. If you don’t read Japanese, we recommend using a browser such as Chrome to translate (though it has trouble with names, so we suggest searching with the name kanji on the original Japanese page). You’ll also need to register with a Japanese address (which doesn’t have to be the same as your billing address) even if you’re only buying digital goods – we used the one from a forwarding company we have experience with, Big in Japan, but any address should do.

There’s always a chance they’ll go on sale again at a later point, but who knows when! We recommend getting them while you have the chance! Make sure to check out the Nijisanji store for other voices as well, including the New Years voice set (on sale until the 11th JST).
