These are the results for the 2021 VTuber Music Awards

Results have been announced for this year’s VTuber music awards. On the eve of this weekend’s awards ceremony, we’re bringing you the the top songs and videos as chosen by the voters and sponsors.

This year saw a whopping 14,642 votes cast for this year’s favorite songs and videos – that’s a huge increase from last year, which saw around 3,500 people participating. Kuzuha hit number one in the votes with Contrail and snagged the second spot while he was at it as part of his unit with Kanae, ChroNoiR, another achievement in the same year he became the first Nijisanji VTuber to pass one million subscribers. Hoshimachi Suisei also had a huge presence in the results, with two songs in the top ten and seven total in the top thirty.

This year’s top 30 was divided entirely between Nijisanji and Hololive, which may reflect a change in who voted this year. If you’d like a bit more variety, check out the sponsor votes below! You can also check out the results from last year here.

We’re looking forward to hearing what happens at the awards ceremony, where besides announcing these results they’re also planning on a look back on the year in music (Nijisanji and Hololive aside) as well as having guests choose the best concerts of 2021!
